Southside Pet and Home Care Plus is a family owned and operated business started in 2008 to provide high quality in - home care for your pets.
Since then the business has grown and expanded to provide extra services, and to include people who not have pets. We have become a “one stop shop” for all your pet and home care needs.
Our aim from the beginning has always been to provide a professional and caring service that we can guarantee. We do this by not employing staff. We do all the work ourselves and that way we can guarantee our services.
We are fully registered, insured and Police Checked for your protection. We can show you our portfolio containing all these certificates and also references from some of our many happy customers.
We adore animals and take the responsibility of caring for them very seriously. We do whatever it takes to make sure they are as happy, healthy and contented as they can possibly be when you aren’t there. Sometimes it means “going the extra mile” but this is what we do when we take on your pets and your home. For this reason we take very detailed instructions from you regarding the care of your pet and your home at our free first interview with you. This interview also comes with no obligation on either of our parts to continue with the booking. It is merely an opportunity for us to meet you and your pets and to discuss your needs and to give you another option of care for them and your home.
Pet sitting offers an alternative to boarding kennels. It is a completely different care option for your pet(s) being a package. We believe both types of services are important in the Pet Care Industry and that it is good to be able to choose which option suits your needs.
When you book with us we stay in touch and text or email you while you are away to let you know how things are going at home and even send photos if you wish.
We are also Pet First Aid trained for your peace of mind.
We want you to be relaxed and stress free and have a happy homecoming reunion with your precious pets and that entails attention to detail on our part and lots of good interaction with your pets while you are away.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us and we will explain to you the many ways in which we protect it, such as arriving in unmarked cars and not wearing a uniform.
We also offer services to people who do not have pets. We collect your mail as well as junk mail and newspapers, water your garden and or pots, security check your home and generally make sure it looks “lived in” while you are away.
Whether you are away or at home these services are always available at reasonable costs.
